A Fish Named "Mumford"
This is Mumford, my father-in-law's favorite goldfish in his new fish tank.
I want to start trying some new illustration styles. This my first try at mixing watercolor with pen & ink. I really enjoyed the process of starting with the soft blending colors, then bringing in the bold lines to really define the subject.
Now I just need to get to work on the other seven fish...

Looking Forward
First of all, welcome to my new website. It's been a long time coming, and I'm really excited to have a fresh platform to share what I've been working on.
My plans for this blog are to use it to post ideas, works in progress, personal projects of all kinds, and occasional inspirational findings. I have a few personal art projects in the works that I'll be kicking things off with, once completed. I'm also looking to get back on track with my letter design project. New posts will be shared regularly via Twitter, but feel free to check in from time to time and see what's new.
